Position: Marketing Coordinator

Summary of Position:

  • Under the general and direct supervision of the Administrator and the Director of Marketing.
  • Develop and implement plans to increase the daily census and retain current membership

Responsibilities:

  • Must have Sales personality to conduct cold calls within an inner city environment.
  • Continuously market to ensure that a minimum of 20 eligible persons enroll in the program per month in each facility.
  • Schedule a minimum of 4 lunches per month to inspire interest in the program. Meet with community groups, potential referral sources, and individuals to explain the program.
  • Have knowledge of the available program slots and days of availability for additional members in the facility.
  • Have a clear understanding of the program and the medical population served.
  • Understand the needs of the elderly and their interest.
  • Develop a concise marketing pitch and review with the Administrator prior to use.
  • Conduct follow-up phone calls to potential and new members to ensure optimum program utilization.
  • Determine participant eligibility through positive feedback from Administrators.
  • Upon determination of eligibility, obtain a complete physical, and conduct the home assessment.
  • Submit all documentation to the Administrator to determine program start date.
  • Make a commitment to cooperative performance to attain care, organization and programmatic objectives which may entail performing duties not included in this job description.

Qualifications:

  • High School graduate or equivalent, in order to have mature reasoning ability required.
  • Must have superficial knowledge of the reasons for client care as provided.
  • Must possess a basic proficiency in English, spelling and math.
  • Must be able to pay attention to details.
  • Must have reliable transportation.
